Item consists of a facsimile of an address by Dr. A.P. Reid, submitted to the September 1910 issue of Maritime Medical News (Vol. XXII, No. 9), and read at the Annual Meeting of the Medical Society of Nova Scotia, held in Yarmouth on July 6th, 1910, titled "Treatment of Pneumonia Sixty Years Ago".

File contains twenty-six railway passes from 1942 and 1943 documenting travel for members of the Bill Lynch Shows. Destinations and departure points include Halifax, Saint John, Toronto, Bridgewater, Yarmouth, Lawrencetown, Newcastle, Moncton, New Glasgow, and Sydney. All the tickets are first class, except for the three in 1951, which are coach. There are three tickets each for: July 25, 1943, September 4, 1943, September 25, 1943, October 4, 1943, and September 17, 1951. There are two tickets for August 12, 1943. There is one ticket each for September 8, 1942, and September 16, 1943.

Inscription reads: This photograph, taken in 1961, when the first Sabin oral vaccine in Canada was administered at Wedgeport, was used on the Peoples Tree at Expo 67 last year. It shows Dr. V.K. Rideout, director of western Health Unit, talking with the mother and child who were the first to receive the vaccine. Dr. C.E.
