File contains Dalhousie University Archives application to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research council for 1983-1984. This application was the funding for the second year of a three year project, the purpose of which was to create detailed finding aids for six important Nova Scotia companies. The intention of the second year of the project was to work on the papers of Campbell, Chase and the Dominion Chair Co. File contains both finalized copy and draft copy of the application, along with letters of support for the project and a list of individuals who could adjudicate the work completed.
