Photograph of J.J. Morrow, C. Romo and J. Martin. Write up with photograph says, " "Charley" Removing the cable off the terminal pole by head office building reminded me of a photo I had of it and though perhaps other employees would like to [?]. It was taken in 1901. There are J.J. Morrow, C. Romo and J. Martin - Romo got in contact with a live wire and was killed some time after. - The 100 pr. 19 ga. cable we took out was larger than the 400 pr. we use now. The picture was taken looking North on Hollis Street. You can see Salter Street and the board fence and tree where the head office building is now. The Russell house stood back from the corner house which they claimed was framed in England and brough out and erected." - C. Peake, May 11th, 1934. C. Romo was killed March 13, 1902.
