Administrative history

The Osler Medico-Historical Club of Halifax was established on January 21, 1921 and remained active until November 27, 1926. The club included the memberships of Dr. William H. Hattie, Dr. David F. Harris, Dr. Albert G. Nicholls, Dr. J. Cameron, Dr. D.G.J. Campbell, Dr. Kenneth A. MacKenzie, Dr. Philip Weatherbe, Dr. George H. Murphy, Dr. Gerald W. Grant, Dr. Forrest H. Murray, and Dr. Murdoch D. Morrison. The majority of the members also belonged to the Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine. The organization provided a forum for medical doctors to exchange professional ideas and opinions.

Custodial history

The materials were accessioned by the Dalhousie University Archives in 1984. The custodial history is unknown.
