Lesbian and Gay Rights Nova Scotia [LGRNS] Jeopardy demonstration script

File contains three copies of the script for the short play Jeopardy, written and performed by members of Lesbian and Gay Rights Nova Scotia [LGRNS]. The play was performed at a demonstration advocating for the addition of legal protections based on sexual orientation under the Nova Scotia Human Rights Act. These changes were eventually enacted in 1991.

File contains one copy of "Proud But Cautious": Homophobic Abuse and Discrimination in Nova Scotia, published in 1992 by Carolyn Gibson Smith for NSPIRG, and one copy of Boys Just Wanna Have Fun: Gay and Bisexual Men Talk About Their Experiences With Alcohol, published in 1998 by AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia's Gay Men and Alcohol Project.

Media coverage of Lesbian and Gay Right's Nova Scotia [LGRNS] activism related to the Human Rights Act

File contains four VHS tapes containing media coverage of Lesbian and Gay Rights Nova Scotia [LGRNS] and their work to protect sexual orientation under the Human Rights Act in Nova Scotia. Media coverage also includes LGRNS opposition to Barkhat Khokhar, a member of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission who expressed homophobic and misogynistic views. Footage from these tapes has been copied onto a DVD-R disc which is also located in this file.
