File contains a brochure created in 1920 by the Dalhousie Campaign Committee. The brochure presents architect Andrew Cobb's campus master plan known as the "vision of Dalhousie." The brochure presents the original Dalhousie College building on Grand Parade as the "First Dalhousie" and the newly constructed Forrest Building as the "Second Dalhousie."
Item consists of an annotated typescript copy of Carleton Stanley's address at the Community Chest luncheon meeting, held at the Lord Nelson Hotel, Halifax, on October 30, 1933, discussing the problems faced by charitable organizations since 1929 -- "[though] I am not advising any of you to take a pair of thumbscrews along with you on your canvass [for charitable contributions]" -- and the growth of the Halifax Public Health Clinic.
File contains meeting minutes from the Board of Directors of Eye Level Gallery and general meetings of the gallery that took place between 1984 and 1987. File also contains correspondence, notes, proposals, and other material that accompany the meeting minutes.
