Item is a photograph of a projection apparatus. Verso of photograph describes that Da Vinci used a candle and a lens to project an enlarged image on a screen. He drew the image on transparent sheets, such as mica, for this purpose.

Photograph of Tramp Art doll cradle

Item is a photograph of a Tramp Art style doll cradle. The cradle was made by an artist in Pictou County, Nova Scotia around 1900. Each part was whittled and fitted together without the use of glue or nails. The cradle was made in the "crown of thorns" tradition because of the spiked ends.
