Collection includes team photographs. Wanderers Grounds was a sporting complex in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which was originally part of the Halifax Commons. The land was used in the 1880s by the Halifax Wanderers Amateur Athletic Club (WAAC) and was their home grounds for the sports of rugby and lawn bowling. Leased to the club in the 1800s, the club failed to pay its lease fees during the Second World War and the land's use reverted to the City of Halifax (Halifax Regional Municipality) who have maintained it since then.

Childhood photographs of Marq de Villiers

File contains a photograph of Marq de Villiers as a small child, wearing a pith helmet and holding a sand shovel, and a photograph marked on the back with "Marq's oupa [grandfather] looking at the dam [with] Terry and Jennifer, Leo's children." On Marq's website, this image appears with the caption: "With grandfather and sister, surveying the state of the world’s water, 1944."

Chesley Allen, David's maternal grandfather, plus a photograph. E. Chesley Allen was the Superintendent of the School for the Blind, and a naturalist.

Records consist primarily of correspondence of Evelyn Holmes (Acting curator, Dalhousie Art Gallery). Additional records consist of a photograph of guest lecturer Russel Harper (Professor, author), an itinerary for Mr. Andrew Hudson, a newspaper clipping regarding Hudson's visit, three lecture outlines, and biographies and curricula vitae for Andrew Hudson, Joan M. Additional records include shipping receipts, insurance certificates, newspaper clippings, a photograph of the painting 'Cascade VIII' and condition reports.
