File contains two scrapbooks, or memory books, created to reflect the activities of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association from 1952 to 1984. The auxiliary dismantled in the mid 1980s; former member Joan MacAulay created these scrap books in May of 2014 to acknowledge the work and friendship auxiliary members had.

Files include records created and collected by Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture horticulturalist Robert A. Murray related to berries and strawberries. Included is the 1968 picture appendix to Murray's Small Fruit Annual reports, a 1969 report titled "Ride-on mechanical lowbush blueberry harvester", a report on the demonstration by Murray and L.E. Alders. Some titles include the thesis "Bibliography of world literature on the strawberry, 1920-1962" by William Anderson, A.L.A.: Thesis submitted for Fellowship of the Library Association, vol.1-2, 1966. 1974 Ag-Dex Vegetable production recommendations from Provincial Departments of Agriculture. A copy of "Weed research in Nova Scotia, 1972-1980", NSDAM. And a "Story by picture of small fruit practices in British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California - April 1969" (3 copies).

File contains photographs of a chicken barbeque event on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College Campus. The first such event was held on July 2, 1951, followed by barbeques in 1952. 1953 and 1954 with 3000 to 5000 people in attendance. The barbeques were sponsored by the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Marketing and the Nova Scotia Farmers' Association to promote the newly expanding broiler chicken industry.
