Nova Scotia Pharmaceutical Society : history talk drafts

File contains three drafts of a talk given by J. Gordon Duff for the Nova Scotia Pharmaceutical Society (NSPS) in 1976. One draft is handwritten while the other two are typed. All three contain pen-marked annotations. The subject is the history of the pharmaceutical profession. Also contains a scrap of paper with speaking points.

File contains the typed manuscript text of an undated address made (presumably in late 1941 or early 1942) by Kenneth Leslie, to "Mr. Chairman, [...] Archbishop Hovsepian, learned doctors, brave Captain [Jim] Chankalian, [and the] Armenian people". File addresses the Armenian cause and the Russian War Relief effort in the months following the Atlantic Charter.

Canadian Library Association acceptance speech for The Leaving

File contains a copy of Budge Wilson's acceptance speech printed in School Libraries in Canada (Summer 1991) for her Canadian Library Association (CLA) Young Adult Canadian Book Award for "The Leaving," and a copy of her letter to the magazine regarding the omission of the title of her book from the published speech. The speech was originally delivered at the CLA/CACL Book Awards Banquet in Montreal, Quebec. The file also includes an annotated, typescript copy of the speech, possibly used at the awards presentation.
