Collection contains tractor and farm equipment manuals that were collected and used by staff of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College for equipment used on the campus in the 20th Century. Included with the manuals were approximately 100 black and white photographs of fields and crops that need to be inventoried.

Detailing a three year study conducted to evaluate Point Aconi Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) ash, which is approximately one third each of unreacted sorbent (CaO), gypsum (CaSO4), and coal ash, as an agricultural soil amendment and liming agent.

Walking wheel

Item is a walking wheel handmade from rock maple around 1875-1880, probably in Northern Colchester County. It was acquired from an old farm house in East Earltown, Nova Scotia.

Subseries contains photographs taken and collected by Waldo Walsh of Nova Scotia Boy's and Girls Clubs in the early 1920s when Walsh was a professor of Animal Husbandry [at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College] and sheep and swine promoter. Subjects include Mabou, Pictou county, Annapolis (Lawrencetown) and Yarmouth. Lottie Austin and some Beaton's and Rankins may be in the Mabou pictures.
