File contains 25 exam papers likely taken by Glen Stephen Ells between the junior and senior year (1913-1915) for subjects associated with agriculture at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. The exam papers are mostly typed and cover a range of topics from entomology, dairy, animal husbandry, commercial law, mathematics, and English literature. The exams are annotated and scribbled over and appear to mainly belong to one student Glen Stephen Ells. One exam paper in particular shows strategy planning for a hockey game on the reverse of which Ells was a team-member.

File contains two scrapbooks, or memory books, created to reflect the activities of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association from 1952 to 1984. The auxiliary dismantled in the mid 1980s; former member Joan MacAulay created these scrap books in May of 2014 to acknowledge the work and friendship auxiliary members had.

Horticulture, small fruits course and English course examinations administered by Stan Curtis in 1938 at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College

File contains the first term examination for the course 'Horticulture, small fruits', dated January 29, 1938. Also included is the examination for the senior 'English' course, dated January 1938. Both examinations were issued from Dr. Stan Curtis at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.

File contains two hats and two t-shirts used in either the February 14, 2005 launch of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary, or the finale event for held February 14, 2006.

Nova Scotia Agricultural College satirical theater script

File contains a satirical script (ca. 1971) for a play focused on student life, the academic calendar, and social interests of the day at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Topics include College Royal, sheep management, etc. It includes a list of actors: R. W. Hounsell (potentially NSAC faculty circa 1960s?); Ray Porth (NSAC Biology Faculty 1970-1980); J.S. (John) Bubar (NSAC Class ’50, and Plant Science faculty); Stuart Smith (NSAC Faculty 1964 to 1991; Len Eaton (NSAC Professor of Biology circa 1970’s and 1980’s (?); and, Gordon Delaney.

The caption is in regards to a reunion of the Truro and District Hockey League that took place May 9, 1992 [?] at Keddy's. The caption underneath the photo states: "The Nova Scotia Agricultural College champions of the Truro and District Hockey League in the 1945-46 season, will be among teams represented when the league holds its reunion May 9 at Keddy's. Panoramic photograph of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus taken in 1921

File contains a panoramic photographic print of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College from 1921. Printed on the back : "Mrs. Mathew [sic Matthew] Frizzell". Removed a piece of a receipt taped to the back of the photograph during processing; it may have been used to indicate cropping when an enlargement was made to hang behind the circulation desk of the MacRae Library. The receipt and description card are attached to the accession form in the case file. The blown up panoramic shot still hangs in the staff work area on Level 1 of the MacRae Library as of April 2020.

Negatives of the Barrett house, buildings, and structures at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College between 1927-1953

File contains photographs of Mrs. Barrett's mother and father, former NSAC caretaker Mr. and Mrs. James Galloway. There are also photographs of other buildings and structures on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus including those no longer standing, as well as Collins horticultural building, the old science building, the dairy building, and Harlow Institute as well as people working in the fields with agricultural equipment and animal assisted machinery.

File contains pages of a scrapbook of photographs of interior and exterior architectural features of several historic buildings on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus. The buildings highlighted are DeWolfe House, Collins Horticulture & Biology Building, Barrett House, and the grounds supervisor building.
The photographs look to have been taken between 1980 and no later than 1995 as Humanities House is referred to as the grounds supervisor building. Humanities moved from Cumming Hall's attic to this house around 1995.
