Files contain the first, third, sixth, and seventh (1913-1919) annual reports submitted by Peter F. J. Shaw, the superintendent of ground and gardens and horticulturist for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.
File contains an account, unsigned but believed to have been written by Dr. Melville Cumming, in regards to the donation of a tractor by Henry Ford to the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in 1917. Mr Ford had previously met then Premier the Honorable George H Murray and was introduced to Melville Cumming, Secretary for Agriculture and Principal of NSAC (1905-1927). There are annotations on the first page "Thanks very much - Len" and on the second page "He was here I understand on a trout fishing exhibition (expedition?)."
File contains a photocopy of a 9 June 1916 news item from The Pictou Advocate written by Robert H. MacKay, R. Henry Graham, and Robert M. MacGregor, "The Farmers Candidates," entitled "The Policy of the Government in Respect to AGRICULTURE is Centralized at the Provincial College and Farm at Truro."
File contains two crests designed for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College by Doug Edit. Correspondence regarding NSAC crests from Doug Edit to Tom Smith in 1995. And a document titled "Mens agitat molem", it explains the motto for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.

File contains a poultry plucking machine patent that was issued on July 4th, 1944 to Angus Edward Banting, Truro, NS. Banting signed all his rights, title and interest of the invention over to the Department of Agriculture and Marketing of the Province of Nova Scotia.
File contains a yearbook once belonging to Paul Myrlyn Tracey during his attendance at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, with back pages having signatures of classmates.
This file contains 57 pages of handwritten notes by Dr. Melville Cummings with recordings from 1920-1926. These papers consist of notes from faculty meetings from 1920-1924, notes regarding 1925 Farm course, and notes on student;s behavior and performance and progress in debate. Pages of note include one piece of paper defining wealth, and another titled " “T___(?) year debate, Dec 18, 1925” City life vs. country life.
