Series contains administrative records of AIDS Nova Scotia, established in 1984 as the Metro Area Committee on AIDS [MACAIDS] and changing its name to AIDS Nova Scotia [ANS] in 1991. ANS was a non-profit advocacy organization for persons living with HIV/AIDS, incorporated in 1986. AIDS Nova Scotia merged with the Nova Scotia Persons With AIDS Coalition in 1995 to form the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia.
