He married Elizabeth Pearl McDonald (1908-1986) and they had one daughter, Lillian Fraser Jeannotte, who lives in Ontario. Fraser passed away November 27, 1964 in New Glasgow, Pictou County.

Neil died on May 29, 1931 in Thorburn.
