Item is a print from Nitrate Negative: 24-82. Mrs. How Ling was born Tay Sing (Twee) Chong in China circa 1899. She arrived in Canada on December 6, 1910 at the age of 11, and died on September 30, 1962 in Halifax.

HARRY GOUDGE GRANT, M.D., C.M., M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P.,
Dr. Harry Goudge Grant was born in Halifax on June 25, 1889. After preparatory schooling in that city, he entered Dalhousie University, graduating M.D., C.M., in 1912. Post-graduate study prior to settling in Halifax in 1920. A keen interest in Public Health, with which he keeps in touch as Professor of Preventive Medicine, took him to Virginia in 1925. There he remained in charge of County Health work until appoint to his present post in 1932. Dr. rant is currently President of the Association of Canadian Medical Colleges. Died 1954.
Secretary of the Medical Society of Nova Scotia 1933-1954.
