Item is a photograph of a gift being presented to Dr. C.B. Stewart by Eli Lilly and Co. Ltd. for the centennial of Canada. The presentation took place in the lobby of the Sir Charles Tupper Medical Building. The gift is a painting by Rex Woods, which is a duplicate of Robert Harris' "The Fathers of Confederation". The painting was presented by Eli Lilly and Co. Ltd.'s district manager R.E. Pahl and Halifax representative J.J. Jacobs (left).

Item consists of a print and a newspaper clipping of a photograph of Mrs. James Sisk and Vice-President Donald McNeill looking at a portrait of Reverend John Forrest, third president of Dalhousie University. Mrs. Sisk is the granddaughter of George Munro, and the grand niece of John Forrest. Her father, Jacob Gould Schurman, was a professor of philosophy at Dalhousie in the 1880s before becoming president at Cornell University in 1892. Photograph was published in University News, September 8, 1972.
