Item is an aerial photograph of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus and surrounding Bible Hill. It was taken between 1957 and 1969 as Trueman House (1957) and Chapman House (1968) (residences) are present but Fraser House (1970) is not yet built.

There is also a small animal, possibly a dog in front of the residence, and a windpump, or water pumping windmill to the right. There is bare grass and leaves on the shrubbery, it could be spring or summer.

File includes 2 postcards with a view of Bible Hill and Salmon River, Truro, N.S.. Including the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, one can see the top of Cumming Hall, the water tower, and electric wind mill generator. Presumably sent from NSAC students, post-dated 1912 & 1914, included as well is a reproduction of the postcard. One card was sent from Truro, Sept 13, 1912, from [Marg?] to Miss C. Maude Pines, Waterville, Kings Co. Nova Scotia. The other was sent from Nuttby, Sept 26, 1914 from [Eff?] to Miss Ruth E. Windrow, The Willows, New Ross, Lun [sp.] N.S.
File contains photographs of a chicken barbeque event on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College Campus. The first such event was held on July 2, 1951, followed by barbeques in 1952. 1953 and 1954 with 3000 to 5000 people in attendance. The barbeques were sponsored by the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Marketing and the Nova Scotia Farmers' Association to promote the newly expanding broiler chicken industry.
File contains negative photographs of the August 1976 Nova Scotia Agricultural College Open House. There are 4 sets of negatives, they include people sitting at tables outdoors around a field in 1970s era clothing, people watching a marching pipes and drum band, some of the photographs feature the campus barn and silos in background, one shows Clydesdale horses pulling a wagon with approx. 8 people seated.
