Troop also lived in Ottawa, Mrs. MacKathy in Oban Scotland, and an unnamed sister in London, England. He was predeceased by his wife and died childless in New Glasgow in 1926. Irish and his family in Pictou, Nova Scotia. The children, Brian age 13 and Jean age 15, returned to England in July of 1945 after spending 5 years with the Irish family.
