The piece, entitled "Whose mistake?", addresses the horrors and "tragedy of Vietnam", suggesting that George McGovern was barely listened to on the campaign trail "because he declared openly that we have done wrong and we ought to acknowledge and correct that wrong", while Nixon appears to merely want to "cover the wrong and make it seem like a right" with his "peace with honor" promises.
