Also included in the fonds are the records of the Lunenburg branch plant of Booth Fisheries Canada Company, Lunenburg Outfitting Company's president Honourable William Duff and Wilfred E. Knickle. Types of records found in the fonds are correspondence, cash books, cheque registers, fish sales and shipment books.

The fonds consists of records which document the business activities and interests of Adams & Knickle Ltd. from 1897 until 1968. Information contained in this fonds provides insight into the company’s role as a major fishing and shipping partner in the fishing and shipping industry in Nova Scotia. Also included in this fonds is information about the company’s international relations with the various agents engaged in this industry; the types and amounts of fish landed, processed, shipped and sold by the company; the many transactions involved in operating vessels; and various events that impacted on the company’s operations. The types of documents include: affidavits, agent accounts, agreements, catch journals, correspondence, damage claims, deeds, employment records, financial statements, fish sales records, fishing contracts, ledgers, notices of protest, port documents, sailing journals, time journals, vessel accounts and journals, vessel certificates, and vessel shares.
Item consists of a facsimile of a passage from J. Alphonse Deveau's 1968 book "La ville francaise" related to the mystery of the Mary Celeste, with an accompanying English translation (likely undertaken by Irving Deale).
The Acadian Supply Company fonds consist of correspondence, financial, legal, sales and shipping records and vessel papers. Also included is correspondence from Lunenburg Mayor Douglas Adams, church papers from LaHave United Church and the Parish of Saint John in Lunenburg, and papers from the Lunenburg Yacht Club and Curling Club.
File contains typed drafts of articles about Erwin Schroeder by Barbara Hinds; several copies of newspaper clippings from the Chronicle-Herald about Erwin Schroeder, some of which are mounted on paper; photocopies of newspaper articles about Erwin Schroeder; correspondence with Shipowners Assurance Management Ltd., Bull & Roberts, Inc., and The Observer; pages torn from the November 19, 1966 issue of Chemical Week; and a copy of the Canadian Concentrates Code.
File contains an alphabetical file of correspondence between Himmelman Supply Company and correspondents with names beginning with X, Y, or Z. Correspondents include the Yarmouth-Boston Freight Service, James. N. Young, Young's Marine Electronic Service, and Zwicker and Company.
