Scrapbook of photographs of architectural features of buildings on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus

File contains pages of a scrapbook of photographs of interior and exterior architectural features of several historic buildings on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus. The buildings highlighted are DeWolfe House, Collins Horticulture & Biology Building, Barrett House, and the grounds supervisor building.
The photographs look to have been taken between 1980 and no later than 1995 as Humanities House is referred to as the grounds supervisor building. Humanities moved from Cumming Hall's attic to this house around 1995.

Item is a reproduction of a photograph of the original building on the property of the Provincial Farm/School of Agriculture which burned down in 1898. This became the site of the Nova Scotia College of Agriculture, Harlow Institute is now on site. There is an octagonal swine barn that was built by students 1891 and was removed before 1913.

File contains invitations both from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (3 copies) and from Canada Post to the launch of the Commemorative stamp for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary February 14, 2006. The event was held at the Alumni Theatre in Cumming Hall at 10 am. Dr, Garth Coffin, past principal was the Master of ceremonies and current president T. Philip Hicks unveiled the stamp along with The Honourable Robert Thibault and Mr. Wayne Quinn, Regional General Manager - Atlantic Canada Post. Also included in the file are two Official first day overs compliments of Canada Post Corporation, they feature the stamp issued.

File contains ephemera from the finale event for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary held February 14, 2006. The event was held at the upper foyer in Cumming Hall at 2 pm.

Included are invitations and a booklet for the event.

Dr. Bernie MacDonald, Acting President of NSAC was to do the welcome, the presentation of the time capsule was done by Dean Emeritus Dale Ells, Mary McPhee, President NSAC Students' Union, and Bernie MacDonald, Acting President of NSAC. Presenting the NSAC centennial CD - A Family Portrait was Jim Goit, Executive Director of Development and External relations.

There are 5 greeting cards that feature black and white photographs, each of a different landmark on campus. They are blank inside with a written description and "NSAC celebrates 100 years and growing in 2005": They are:
1. NSAC Cox Institute - a close up of the stone sign and word Institute with spring/summer floral landscaping in front.
2. West-facing stacked windows, MacRae Library
3. Water fountain, bird bath, in memory of Harold and Dorothy McKean, Alumni Gardens
4. Circular cobblestone patio, Alumni Gardens
5. The impost of the entrance arch, Cumming Hall

Also included are a temporary tattoo and a fridge magnet as well as the 2005 NSAC graduate class composite.
