File contains a photograph of the exterior of the headquarters of Industrial Union of Marine and Shipbuilding Workers of Canada, Local 1, on 60 Gerrish Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The building was built ca. 1939 by Mr. Williams of Lower Sackville for Fenton and Day Beverage Company. It was later sold to Ralph Gould who then sold it to the union, who renovated it to serve as their main offices, meeting hall, and social club.

File contains two colour photographs of the D Building, also known as the A.L. MacDonald Building. The building houses the Civil Engineering department, Canadian Institute of Fisheries Technology and the Centre for Water Resources Studies). It was designed by C. St. John Wilson and constructed by Fundy Construction Company between 1950 and 1951.
