Scope and content
File contains a photograph of the exterior of the headquarters of Industrial Union of Marine and Shipbuilding Workers of Canada, Local 1, on 60 Gerrish Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The building was built ca. 1939 by Mr. Williams of Lower Sackville for Fenton and Day Beverage Company. It was later sold to Ralph Gould who then sold it to the union, who renovated it to serve as their main offices, meeting hall, and social club.
