Fonds consists of records related to Sandy Young’s academic research and teaching career, with an emphasis on sport and sport history in Nova Scotia and Canada.

The largest series consists of student papers, most of which were written for Dr. Young’s leisure studies classes and contain information gleaned from student interviews with athletes.
