Transcript of an interview between Dennis Magill and H. Bond Jones

File contains the transcript of an interview conducted by Dennis Magill with Mr. H. Bond Jones, a welfare officer for the city of Halifax, on October 7, 1969, regarding the Africville Relocation Project. File also contains the summary of an interview conducted with Jones in August of the same year, as well as a list of questions and facsimile newspaper clippings.

Two manuscripts by Olga Kukal about Gynaephora groenlandica at Alexandra Fiord : [draft manuscripts]

File contains two manuscripts written by Olga Kukal, and with edits by Freedman. Manuscript one is titled "The effect of parasitoids on the survivorship of the high Arctic Woolly-bear caterpillar, Gynaephora groenlandica (Wocke) (Lepidoptera:Lymantriidae)" (co-written with Peter G. Kevan); manuscript two is titled: "Experimental evidence of cold hardiness in the larvae of Gynaephora groenlandica (Wocke) (Lepidoptera:Lymantriidae)". Both manuscripts address the caterpillar's hardiness at Alexandra Fiord, Ellesmere Island. Kukal contributed a later draft of this research to the Freedman-edited "Ecology of a Polar Oasis".
