Livestock reference resources

Series consists of reference material relating to Maritime livestock shows, sales, and auctions, as well as livestock in Canada and in India. Subseries include materials covering beef cattle, dairy cattle and dairy practice, horses, sheep and goat, and swine published between 1880-2007.

International Harvester Lines almanac and encylopedia

Item is a 1913 International Harvester Company (IHC) almanac and encyclopedia (International Harvester Lines). The first edition of this almanac was issued in 1908. The almanac focuses on the practical side of farm and country life. It features tables of useful information and authoritative articles of an educational character, as well as astronomical data and calculations which formed such a noteworthy part of all earlier Almanacs. Included is a list of International Harvester Company of America (Incorporated) Canadian Branch Houses with the only Atlantic location being St. John, N.B. Includes illustrations.

Item is a travelling fruit salesman's catalog used for showing the varieties offered by a nursery. Contents : Sussex Nursery, Kings County, New Brunswick. Lithographer : J. W. Thompson and Co, Rochester New York. ca.1876-1891.
Nurserymen's coloured plates were produced by J. W. Thompson and Co. of Rochester, New York. J. W. Thompson and Co. operated by John Wrigley Thompson (b. 1826 England ; d. 1900 New York) between 1876 and 1891.
