Donated to the Agricola Archives via Silva Hyson, niece of the donors Earle and Thelma Wilson. The Wilson's owned a small farm in the area and collected this almanac (accession number A2018-088)
Scope and content
Item is a 1913 International Harvester Company (IHC) almanac and encyclopedia (International Harvester Lines). The first edition of this almanac was issued in 1908. The almanac focuses on the practical side of farm and country life. It features tables of useful information and authoritative articles of an educational character, as well as astronomical data and calculations which formed such a noteworthy part of all earlier Almanacs. Included is a list of International Harvester Company of America (Incorporated) Canadian Branch Houses with the only Atlantic location being St. John, N.B. Includes illustrations.
