Item is a manuscript of diary entries, genealogical notes, lists of idioms, and anecdotes written by Frank Parker Day in preparation for writing his novel Rockbound, which was based on families on East Ironbound Island.

Manuscript pages 85 to 91 and a typescript fragment. The folder also contains an article by Alan Bevan published by The Dalhousie Review in 1958 entitled "Rockbound Revisited: A Reappraisal of Frank Parker Day's Novel."

File also includes a copy of the Angler's Club Bulletin (Volume 7, Number 1), which includes an address given by Frank Parker Day to the 22nd annual dinner at the university club on January 17, 1928. File also includes a copy of School and Society (Volume 26), which contains an article by Lotus D. Coffman that reference Frank Parker Day.
