The interview is about an investigation into the incidence of mental illness in western Nova Scotia. This is the fourth in a series of four interviews. The file also contains two typed scripts of intros and outros for two interviews with Dr. Leighton.

The interview was conducted by Anna Quon at the Gorsebrook Institute on the Saint Mary`s University Campus on October 19, 2010. This was the fifth interview conducted as part of the Our Voices Matter Project. The interview touches on a wide range of topics, including John's childhood in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, experiences with anxiety and depression, and other aspects of his personal life.
