Board of Directors

Series consists largely of board meeting minutes, which may include correspondence, biographical sketches and contact information for board members, presentations and occasional papers, committee reports, executive committee meeting minutes, policy circulars, and memoranda. Files for the years 1987-1988 are missing.

Subject files

Series consists of files retained for reference and educational use, containing research materials, correspondence, articles, memos, and newspaper cuttings.

Audiovisual library

This series consists of audio and video cassettes from the Ecology Action Centre's resource library. Material contains documentaries, interviews, and informational videos regarding environmental issues and similar topics.

Financial statements of the Ecology Action Centre

Series consists primarily of audited year-end financial statements intended for use by both the public and the Ecology Action Centre membership. Files may also include correspondence with auditors, draft budget proposals and interim and/or unaudited financial statements.

Annual reports

Series consists of official reports presented annually to the membership. In addition to the president's annual report, files may include financial and committee reports (drafts and final copies), copies of JUSUN, meeting minutes, project summaries, and membership and donor lists and contact information. Reports for 1983-1986 are missing.

Committees

Series consists of eight sub-series, arranged alphabetically by title: agriculture (ecological), communications resources, energy, forestry, fundraising, recycling, urban, and uranium. Within each sub-series, files are arranged by subject.

Resource centre library of the Ecology Action Centre

Series consists of reference material from the Ecology Action Centre's resource centre library. Series includes books, pamphlets, newsletters, fact sheets and similar types of reference material created and collected by the Ecology Action Centre. Materials cover subjects such as parks and green spaces, species at risk, pesticide spraying, climate change, pollution, composting, recycling, and energy sources including nuclear, tidal power, oil, and gas.
