Yoruba-Stirling HOS analysis

File contains charts and datasets tracking demographic, social, and psychiatric statistics from Yoruba and Stirling Country respondents. Also contains notes on and memos regarding HOS coding for studying the role of women. Includes analysis cards for Stirling and Yoruba social and psychiatric data and master lists for sample coordination.

File contains research data and notes related to Gilbert Winham's researching of the article "Developing Theories of Foreign Policy Making: A Case Study of Foreign Aid", compiled in 1969 while employed at McMaster University. The article eventually appeared in the Feb 1970 issue of The Journal of Politics (32:1, pp. 41-70).

Coded data on Congressional speeches, testimony, and press releases, for An analysis of foreign aid decision-making : the case of the Marshall Plan

File contains data collected and coded by Gilbert Winham in 1967, documenting public speeches, speeches before Congress, congressional testimony, and press releases/statements from a selection of members of the U.S. congress between May 1947 and April 1948. A handwritten note states that the file contains "congressional stuff, coded for APSA paper, Lodge, Ball". Data was compiled and used as part of Winham's thesis 'An Analysis of Foreign Aid Decision-Making: The Case of the Marshall Plan'.
