Historic portraits from the permanent collection

File consists of records related to the exhibition 'Historic portraits from the permanent collection' organized by Mern O'Brien, Dalhousie Art Gallery, held from May 6 to June 20, 1982. Portraits done by John S. Copley, Robert Field, William Valentine, Ernest Lawson, Lawren Harris and others from the University's permanent collections.

Records consist of portraits labels, photographs, and a biographical summary of Archibald McKellar MacMechan 1862 - 1933.
