Bliss Carman documents in the William Inglis Morse Collection

This series consists of original manuscripts of Bliss Carman's poetry, his correspondence and photographs of himself, along with his wife and son. Also included are offprints and clippings of his published poetry.

This series consists of books collected by William Inglis Morse. Books include A Journal of the proceedings on board the sloop Dart, privateer of St. John, New Brunswick, Annals of Liverpool and Queen's county, 1760-1867 and Nova Scotia authors and their work; a bibliography of the province by Robert James Long.

Documents

This series includes documents collected by William Inglis Morse. Documents include an appointments of Joseph Howe and Thomas A. Turner, a pension decree from the War Department of the French Republic signed by Napoleon Bonaparte, an inscription to the memory of William Clark, Esq by Samuel Winslow, permits and more.

This series consists of a sket of the cutter 'Mary' that belonged to Major Love, photographs of Bliss Carman and a portrait of Louisa May Alcott, which were collected by William Inglis Morse.
