Vivaldi piccolo concerto

Item is an audio reel containing recordings of four performances. Track 1 is Vivaldi's Piccolo Concerto performed by the Hamilton Chamber Orchestra with Marta Kidy conducting and Stephen Pedersen on the piccolo, recorded in mono at a concert at Westmount High School in Hamilton on May 29, 1969. Tracks 2, 3 and 4 are part of a grouping called Electronic Tape, composed by Stephen Pedersen during his time at the Royal Conservatory of Music Electronic Studies under the instruction of S. Dalin. Track 2—Intaglio—was recorded in stereo on May 28, 1969 at the Cedarbrae Library in Scarborough, Ontario. Track 3—Study—was written in early fall 1968. Track 4—I'm Always Getting Yelled at for Being Overdressed (Study #Two)— was recorded on March 18, 1968 during a Royal Conservatory noon-hour series.

Item is a cassette recording of episodes one ("Upper Case") and two ("The Fiend in the Fortress") of Donald Silver Cameron's radio play Zwicker, which was broadcast on CBC Radio on January 5 and 12, 1978. The music was written by Stephen Pedersen for flute, bass and keyboard. The keyboard was played by Monique Gusset [later Monique Luce Gibson].

The recital featured Stephen Pedersen on flute, Phyllis Ensher on harp, and Ronald Willoughby on viola, and included Piéce en Forme de Habanera, by Ravel; Intermezzo, by Andriessen; and Sonata for Flute, Harp and Viola, by Debussy.

Item is an audio reel with "Explosion" written on the case, which probably refers to a concert directed by Stephen Pedersen at St. George's Anglican Church on 6 December 1983 that featured symphony musicians playing music of the period.

Zwicker theme scores

File contains scores for the Zwicker theme, which was composed by Stephen Pedersen for the CBC Radio series of six half-hour plays written by Silver Donald Cameron. There is also a note from Cameron to the Pedersens.
