Item is a Nova Scotia Agricultural College 'College royal' pin. The pin is round, and is blue and gold in colour. It says “Do your best for it’s success” and features a ram head. Attached to the pin are gold ribbons with 'NSAC – 1972'.
Item is the Class of 1952 gift - Wooden shield with Nova Scotia Agricultural College logo/crest. The Management Board of the Government provided a designer and a committee of faculty led the process of developing a new logo. The logo, with a shield and the College name, had two symbols: an open book to represent learning and a mold-board plow, which suggests cultivation and agriculture. The College motto inscribed is "Mens agitat molem", which has been translated as "the educated mind animates and enlivens creation". The artist, Bruce Wood, designed the carving using three woods, inlaid to make the shield shaped logo. Was presented to the Library in memory of fellow '52 graduate Dr. Herbert F. MacRae. Subseries contains records that were created and used in the partnership project with the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (NSAC) and the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (Columbia) in the development of a 'Training Program in Sustainable Agriculture' at UFPS for both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The program ran between 1997 and 2002. The Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (UFPS) was asked to play a key role in “El Salto Social”, the social leap forward, in the Santander region of Colombia. New curricula was to be introduced at UFPS, faculty being upgraded and new extension and outreach programs being established with the assistance of NSAC through this project. Other project partners were the Universidad de la Republica Uruguay (URU) of Uruguay and Saint Mary’s University (SMU). This was an Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) University Program for Cooperation in Development (UPCD) Tier 2 project led by NSAC. NSAC Personnel involved were Norman Goodyear, Bonnie Waddell, Sam Asiedu, and Leanne French.

File is a time capsule created by the Class of 2012, the last class of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College before its merger with Dalhousie University. The capsule contains approximately 50 articles deposited by graduating students, including pictures, a bottle of wine made at the college, frosh beanies, written memories, a synopsis of NSAC and banquet programs. The project was initiated by Matthew Lawless, co-chair of the graduating class, Jonathan Waugh and Jessica Dowe, and the capsule was built by NSAC engineering technician Chris Nelson.
Item is a black and white photograph of Nova Scotia Agricultural College's prized stallion, Captain Aubrey, pictured with A. Dwyer driving a cart attached. From Dale Ells' Shaped through Service : an illustrated history of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, page 95: Captain Aubrey was a bay horse that stood 15.3 hands in height, weighed around 1200 pounds. Captain Aubrey foaled in 1904 and had an impressive racing career until 1912, then began his career as a stud horse.
