It was prepared for the NSAC "Advance" workshop held in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, December 6-8, 1998. Prepared by Dr. Harvey Silverstein, Vice President, Concentrics Communications Canada. The purpose of the workshop was to bring together individuals from faculty, instructors, technicians, administration, staff and students to improve communications across campus.

File contains correspondence from Lyman T. Chapman, Office of the Principal, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, to members of the NSAC Alumni Association re: changes to the 1939 NSAC academic calendar. Changes include a wider printing and distribution of the calendar, 1,500 printed in 1937-38, 3,000 the previous year, and 5,000 copies printed for the 1939-40 year. General course students could enroll in the new "horticulture" option in their second year, or "mixed farming". A department of Farm Management was established. Details of the two, two-year courses offered, and the vocational short courses.
