This photograph of the engine room at the Oland's Turtle Grove Brewery factory in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, prior to the 1917 explosion. In 1925 this equipment was moved to the Oland plant on Agricola Street, Halifax. This engine became the cooling unit for the restored brewery, the first beer was produced in March, 1926. This photograph was removed from it's frame and included in the fonds.

File is a xerox photocopy of a photograph of first Sabin oral vaccine in Canada. Inscription reads: This photograph, taken in 1961, when the first Sabin oral vaccine in Canada was administered at Wedgeport, was used on the Peoples Tree at Expo 67 last year. It shows Dr. V.K. Rideout, director of western Health Unit, talking with the mother and child who were the first to receive the vaccine. Dr. C.E.
