File contains three spiral bound stenographer's notebooks containing handwritten notes about Halifax landmarks, including the court house, St. George's church, waterfront buildings, West House, Brunswick Street, the old post office, and Province House. Some of the notes are written in shorthand.
File contains three presentation drawings by Drew Sperry, probably as a part of his BA Architecture program at the Nova Scotia Technical College. Drawings include elevations; floor plans; sections; and a site plan. The chapel was designed to sit between Shirreff Hall and the National Research Council building on Oxford Street.
Item is a diary kept by Arthur H. Whitman that describes a trip to England between November, 30 1888 and January 17, 1889. The diary contains daily entries that describe Whitman's activities, church attendance, meals, business and social visits, and letters sent and received. Many entries describe his meetings about apples. The diary also records money received and paid.
File contains a scrapbook compiled by Allen M. Reid on church organs and organ music. The scrapbook includes newspaper articles and postcards, many of which relate to organs and churches in Halifax.
