They spoke at a gathering at the Halifax waterfront, sponsored by the Coalition for a Nuclear Free Harbour and Greenpeace. The gathering was in protest of the nuclear-armed British vessel, The Ark Royal. The recording begins with a song by Laura Smith, one of the local performers who participated in the gathering. The recording aired on CKDU June 16, 1990 and was rebroadcast June 17, 1990 on Access and June 18, 1990 on Title Waves.
