A caption included in the file says "Still Jubilant after their national intercollegiate victory, the Tigerettes' field hockey team were further honored at the annual Athletics Awards banquet when they received a special plaque - and a rose each - from the Nova Scotia Department of Recreation."

Dr. Kushner was the creator of the art in the photo. His artwork was part of the Student, Staff, and Alumni Exhibit at the Dalhousie Art Gallery in 1977.

Item consists of a black & white photograph (processed by Wamboldt-Waterfield), of the March 1975 ground turning ceremony undertaken by Premier Gerald Regan for the construction of the new Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre. People identified in the photograph include Tom Risley (in the wheelchair on the left-side of the picture), Don Curren (in the wheelchair in the middle of the picture), and Dr. Arthur Shears (director of the new Rehabilitation centre, standing at the far right of the picture).

Item is a photograph of a Tramp Art style doll cradle. The cradle was made by an artist in Pictou County, Nova Scotia around 1900. Each part was whittled and fitted together without the use of glue or nails. The cradle was made in the "crown of thorns" tradition because of the spiked ends.
