Photograph of Tom Olding and his wife who operated the Merigomish telephone agency from 1960 until it went dial in 1976. Mr. Olding was special head table guest at open house ceremonies held in the community to make the provision of extended area service. At the podium is Graham Holman, commercial manager in New Glasgow. In centre is Donald Cameron, MLA Pictou East.
