Biographical history
Will Robinson is a Halifax-based interdisciplinary artist and a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University (2004). Robinson primarily explores the use of sound in unconventional places. Robinson became associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in 2005 because their video recording for the 2005 CFAT video scholarship became a part of the centre’s tape collection.

Tanya Busse is an artist whose artworks are mainly installation art, photography and print. Busse became associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in 2008 because their “White Night” became a part of the centre’s tape collection.
Custodial history
The tape was donated to the Dalhousie University Archives in 2013 by the Centre for Art Tapes.

Item consists of a video recording by William Robinson and Tanya Busse entitled "White Night". The video is a documentation of a performance for Centre for Art Tapes in New York, it includes footage of being outdoors with night-vision.
