Biographical history

Dr. Thaddeus M. Sieniewicz was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1895 and moved to Canada in 1902. He graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 1917 as the gold medalist of his class. He later taught at Dalhousie University and practiced medicine in Halifax.

During the First World War, Dr. Sieniewicz served in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps and, during the Second World War, served overseas as Lieutenant Colonel and Chief of Medicine with No. 7, Canadian General Hospital.

An active professional, Dr. Sieniewicz was a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Canada), and Fellow of Canadian Academy of Allergy.

Dr. Sieniewicz passed away on September 20, 1975.
