Biographical history
Paul Wadden became associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in 1979 because of their involvement in a video recording entitled “Prose readings” which became a part of the centre’s tape collection.
Custodial history
The tape was donated to the Dalhousie University Archives in 2013 by the Centre for Art Tapes.
Scope and content
Item consists of two video works created by Mike Riggio (director), John Doyle (camera), and Paul Wadden (writer and performer). Video includes two selections of prose readings : Far greater love on a far greater bay and One of the boys. Video is from Memorial University Art Tapes. Far Great Love is a video of man drinking with English accent reminiscing of a great love. One of the Boys is about a man with heavy Newfoundland accent telling story.

Video shows wear but is watchable. Heavy distortion for 5 seconds near the end of One of the boys.
