Signatures note
Slides were originally held in a tan metal slide box with handwritten label: "W. Arctic Sable Isl." and a black untitled binder. 32 were stored in compartment 16-19, titled "Smoking Hills" and "SH" (with the title "Data" expunged from 18 19), as per Freedman's penciled location key; 25 were stored in a black binder (one sheet containing caribou slides was blank, and the other was titled "Smoking Hills").
