Biographical history

Donald Roderick McFetridge was born 9 July 1924 in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia, to Ira Jay McFetridge and Grace J. Hanna. He married Florence Edna Mitchell on 16 February 1950 with whom he had one son, Michael Donald McFetridge (1951-2023). Donald died 23 October 2005, at the age of 81.

Custodial history

Photographs were in the PC2 photographic collection and have PG-2-119 as a reference number. They were acquired by the archives in 1985 and added to AtoM in 2024.

Scope and content

Collection consists of seven reproductions of late-19th/early 20th-century photographs of shops, people and houses in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.
