This file contains 3 photographs of the America passenger ship. The first photograph shows the America in the Atlantic and has a description in French language on the reverse that reads "Le paquebot "America" dans une tempĂȘte sur l'atlantique - mars 1949". The second photograph is of the entire ship at sea. The third photograph is the America being lead out by tugboats from New York City into the Hudson River to begin voyage across the Atlantic, carrying 260 Athletes and 44 coaches and managers of the US Olympic Teams. Also included with the photographs is photo credit sheet issued by the Associated Press with the information about the third photograph.
