Photograph was used in Hinds' article entitled "Barbara Hinds, Chronicle-Herald reporter, journeyed north to the land of Dangerous Dan McGrew for the Gold Rush Festival of '62 and found... Tough guys still add salt to Klondike scene."

Signatures note

A note on the back of the print says "While other men sweated in the gold fields, the Indians fished for King Salmon on the cool Yukon River."
