Series consists of materials such as correspondence (including correspondence regarding employment and letters to and from family, friends, and professional colleagues); short stories; personal research (including his work on storm porches of Halifax); finances; and memorabilia created or collected during Braybrooke's education, work experience, and travels. This series also contains biographies and curricula vitae of David Braybrooke arranged chronologically (1961-1990); early writings and notes taken from Braybrooke's high school education (ca. 1937); materials relating to his undergraduate education (1941-1948) including class notes, assignments, and readings; materials relating to his graduate education (1948-1953) including applications to graduate schools, readings, drafts of both Masters and Ph.D. theses, and class notes; and materials related to courses audited at Yale University while employed there (1960-62).
